About Alton Carter
Alton is a former foster child. He was the first person in his family to graduate high school and college. Now the training manager for Air Hygiene International of Brokern Arrow, OK, the Oklahoma State University alum has dedicated his life to inspire others to make the world a better place. His books, The Boy Who Carried Bricks and Aging Out have won numerous national awards and honors. Alton, his wife Kristin, and their children, Kelton, Colin, Alliyah, Angelina, and Curtis make their home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. More info on Alton at altoncarter.net
About Tim Jessell
When Tim was a small boy, his mom often said his art ability, “was a gift from God.” Tim’s been working as a professional illustrator since high school in Terre Haute, IN. He then went on to graduate from the University of Tulsa. Over the years, his award winning work has been used for many advertisements, magazines, and books - including his own picture books, Amorak and Falcon.
